After breakfast, you’ll set off for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, you’ll enjoy lunch at the lodge before descending over 600 meters into the crater to experience its rich wildlife.
The Ngorongoro Crater, with its year-round water supply and abundant fodder, supports a diverse array of animals, including herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. The park is also renowned for its dense population of predators, such as lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which can be challenging to spot. We will also visit Lake Magadi, a large shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner of the crater, known for its impressive flocks of flamingos, hippos, and various other water birds.
